Pricing Analyst

Summary of Duties

The Pricing Analyst supports the Market Intelligence, Pricing & Programming manager by maintaining pricing data, updating price sheet data and reporting.

The Pricing Analyst has responsibilities throughout the Americas for gathering, analyzing and interpreting industry market data and sales activities; gather, analyze and maintain market intelligence on competitive pricing and products.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field of study (Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Statistic’s, or other similar field) preferred and a minimum of 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong ability to work with data including database queries preferred.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableu or similar software a plus.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and overall business aptitude.
  • Must be able to multi-task, juggling different initiatives in a fast pace environment.
  • Must be a good listener.
  • Ability to effectively interface with dealers and customers as well as internal staff.

Product Marketing Specialist

Summary of Duties

This position is 70% tactical and 30% strategic and is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of comprehensive product marketing training and materials that maximize both sales growth and margin potential. The training component will include creating formalized product training with test materials, product webinars, YouTube videos, as well as on site product marketing training. Other materials created will include product bulletins, competitive product bulletins, spec sheets, and product marketing tips. This position is also responsible for identifying and addressing new product marketing related training material needs that are both dealer and customer facing. This position is also responsible for supporting development of product business plans.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working with a distribution organization in construction equipment industry or related field.
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills required to effectively analyze the market activities and provide valuable insight and direction to the Region Manager on the most effective action to pursue, that will maximize company market share for the long term.
  • Establish a leadership role within the company and gain support and coordination with other departmental disciplines where there is not direct responsibility or supervision (i.e., Sales and Product Support), to enable the successful creation and implementation of marketing plans.
  • Skilled at problem solving, negotiating, and conflict resolution, while maintaining the long-term focus of the company.
  • This position requires 30-40% extensive overnight travel, using different modes of transportation (auto, plane, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent technical skills in Microsoft applications and other computer software such as Adobe.
